A common mistake that people make is to take the accredited lead auditor training/course.  This s a mistake because this training is designed for 3rd party auditors.  The accredited lead auditor courses do not spend the time that our courses do on covering the standard.   The standards that we teach (IATF16949, ISO14001, ISO9001, ISO45001) do not have a requirement for accredited lead auditor training.  The requirement is that internal auditors are competent - not that they take the accredited lead auditor course.

Our training is specifically designed for internal auditors and those who need to be familiar with the standard.

We teach the standard and practice auditing throughout the entire course.  We also provide templates that show the various requirements being met. This helps the student who is new to auditing to understand what the requirements mean and what to look for. As an added benefit of our training, our templates can  be used to help build your own system. Management system manuals are provided as part of the course.

Finally, we provide a method for students to demonstrate competence - so when they get a certificate from us we will acknolwedge the level of competence achieved.

Typically, our students are more equiped to conduct internal audits and implement the management system.

Special note on IATF16949 training:

The trainer should be competent in the following:

• automotive process approach;
• risk-based thinking;
• applicable customer-specific requirements;
• ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 requirements;
• core tool ;
• auditng  (how to plan, conduct, report and close out findings)

Our trainers are current IATF16949 auditors who understand the requirements.
